At the Good Evening Ranch there are several ponds available to guests to fish for small mouth bass, blue gill and catfish. If you are an avid sports fisherman, access to fly fishing in pristine mountain streams is available on the ranch or within a short driving distance.
In Southern West Virginia you can find and have easy access to some of the most challenging and diverse mountain biking in the Eastern United States. The Good Evening Ranch is in close proximity to the Monongahela National Forest, New River National Recreation Area and the Gauley River National Recreation Area.


Good Evening Ranch is also in close proximity to the Best Whitewater Rafting in the East. A short drive to the New River, which is rafted nearly year round and only minutes from Summersville Lake and the Gauley River. In the fall, the lake releases its water and fills the Gauley making it a whitewater run of World renown.
